很多學生在寫作時會把這兩個詞搞混，
雖然都可翻成「在…之中」，但實際上用法有明確區分，那究竟該怎麼分辨呢？
正確答案：以「數量」來區分。
定義說明：
between：用於「兩者」之間（=A 和 B），或位於兩個對象的中間。
among：用於「三者或以上」之間（=A、B、C…），也能表示「被…所包圍」、「在群體之中」。
例句：
between（兩者）
There is a chair between the two sofas.
（有一張椅子放在兩張沙發之間。）Taichung is between Miaoli and Changhua.
（台中位於苗栗與彰化之間。）
among（三者以上）
The apple was shared equally among the three kids.
（蘋果被三個小孩平均分掉。）K-pop is very popular among the younger generation.
（韓流音樂在年輕一代之中非常受歡迎。）
會話：
A: Where’s the post office?
（郵局在哪裡？）
B: It’s between the bank and the bakery. You’ll find it among all those small shops.
（在銀行和麵包店中間，就在那一排小店裡。）
事實上 between 也能用於三者以上，但原則與語意不同。
