看到外國廣告或文章時，
常常會出現這個片語 「word of mouth」，
那它到底是什麼意思呢？
正確答案：「口耳相傳」、「口碑」的意思。
用法說明：
大致上可以分為兩種用法：
1) 作為片語使用（名詞片語），最常搭配的介系詞是 by 或 through。
如：by word of mouth、through word of mouth
表示資訊、名聲是「靠人傳人」擴散的。
2) 作為形容詞使用（需加連字號）用法同一般形容詞。
當 word of mouth 用來修飾名詞時，
必須寫成 word-of-mouth（加上連字號），
用法就和一般形容詞一樣。
